Do you like to sing along to the oldies station on the radio? Belt it out in the shower? Hum to your own iPhone playlist? Come join your fellow singing enthusiasts (talent not required) for a morning of song. Sandy Abramson and Donna Zalichin will lead a sing-a-long of Broadway favorites, standards from the Great American Songbook, and folk and rock hits from the ’60s and ’70s.
Sandy and Donna are not professional musicians, but they love sharing their love of song with others. Sandy, a retired physical therapist, is a lifelong pianist. Donna, a consultant to nonprofits, is a lifelong choral singer. They are regular volunteers in Manhattan, where they entertain groups with renditions of old standards and show tunes. Bring your voice and enthusiasm – we’ll provide the words! Meet, mingle, munch and learn while enjoying refreshments generously provided by Goldberg’s and coffee by Starbucks®.
