Have a Heart for the Homeless Candlelight Vigil

2350 Broadhollow Rd
Farmingdale, New York 11735

TUESDAY, APRIL 4, 2017 | 6:30pm

Reports show that there are close to 4,000 Long Islanders living on the streets or in emergency shelters during. On Long Island, approximately half of the homeless are children.

On April 4, 2017, the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless will hold a special Candlelight Vigil for the Homeless to raise awareness about the homeless and the great need for affordable housing in our area. We will also be collecting new/unused baby items, non-perishable food and toiletries to distribute to Long Island’s homeless and at risk families.

Please be a part of 2,000 participants at our “Have a Heart for the Homeless” Candlelight Vigil on April 4, 2017, from 6:30PM – 8:30PM, in Roosevelt Hall at Farmingdale State College. The participation of every person who cares will make a difference. Help us show that Long Islanders want to eradicate homelessness and hunger that exist in our affluent society.
