If These Walls Could Talk: History of the Rogers Mansion

The Rogers family established a farm at the corner of Main Street and Meeting House Lane in 1648. It has been the proud residence of three influential Southampton families, including a whaling captain, a country doctor, and a retired lawyer turned philanthropist. This exhibit will highlight the families that lived in the mansion along with the role the Mansion played in the Southampton community. The free opening reception for this exhibit will be on Saturday, March 7 at 4pm and will feature a Curator’s Talk at 4:30pm, and the exhibit itself will run through Thursday, December 31st, 2015.
