Maybe you’ve written a book you are also hoping to illustrate and self-publish? Or maybe it’s another story you’d like to illustrate. Whether picture book, middle-grade or young adult, learn and employ fundamental design and composition that will lead toward creating a book dummy–a mock up of your book such as a publisher might request. The process of illustration varies from artist to artist, but it’s the final art that counts. During this workshop, become familiar with stages of illustration while working on your own drawings.
