The Bay Area Symphony Orchestra of BAFFA (Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts), directed by Dr. Richard Wright, performs Italian Icons on Saturday, April 21 at Bayport-Bluepoint High School Auditorium. Included in the program are Rossini’s Overture to the Barber of Seville, Mascagni’s Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Ponchielli’s La Giaconda and Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italien.
Violinist, Eya Setsu, a senior music major at Stony Brook University and a resident of St. James, will be the featured soloist for The Four Seasons.
The concert begins at 7:30pm and is free though donations are requested.
