John Drew Theater Lab (JDTLab) is a workshop devoted to fostering East End performing artists continues its fall season! Directed by Peter Connolly. Featuring Peter Connolly, Chloe Dirksen, Joanna Howard, Kate Mueth, Christian Scheider, and Tristan Vaughan. This marks Peter Connolly’s directorial debut, with an outstanding cast to tell this moving and celebrated play. Four Manhattan yuppies strike up a friendship in a chic uptown restaurant after a bag lady involves them in an altercation. A month later, the four self-involved Manhattanites, having fallen instantly in love with one another, converge in the Hamptons, hoping to alleviate their shaped sense of alienation and purposelessness with a misguided attempt at rehabilitating May, the bag lady who brought them all together.
