Mordechai Miller was just eight years old when soldiers from Nazi Germany invaded his home country of Poland. Meet Mr. Miller and hear his story as he and his family were forced to flee their home and take refuge in a nearby forrest while looking for a safe place to stay. One day while hiding in the forrest a nazi soldier stumbled upon the family. Believing them to be Polish refugees, the Nazi Waffen SS Panzer Division offered the Millers work in the kitchen. For the next six years Mordechai and his family feared that they would be discovered until the Soviet Army liberated them on January 17, 1945. Program is from 2:30-4PM. Free registration is underway.
