The Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation (MPCCF) invites the community to “Get Wet for a Good Cause” at the 6th Annual Montauk Ocean Swim Challenge on Saturday, July 26th, 2014. Swimmers of all ages and abilities can compete in three distance categories. Beginners can sign up for a quick half-mile swim, more experienced swimmers can register for the one-mile swim, and the adventurous can tackle the new 5K swim. Each distance swim will have separate youth and adult divisions. Swimmer check-in and same-day registration opens at 5:30 a.m. at the Ditch Plains Beach parking lot. Proceeds from the Montauk Ocean Swim benefit the future Aquatics Center at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center.
