That Meetball Place, located on Main Street in Farmingdale, is celebrating National Meatball Day on Thursday, March 9th and hosting their first annual National Meatball Day party. Festivities will take place from 6:30 to 10 p.m., highlighting the inaugural ‘meetball eating contest.’ Those who wish to participate must register in person at the restaurant they choose to compete at; cost to enter is $30 per person. The contestant who eats the most meetballs in a set amount of time will be deemed winner. Grand prize is $1000 cash.

An ‘all-you-can-eat’ meetball special, served with pasta and a salad, will be available for $19.95 (lobster balls are not included). Party 105.3 will emcee the event. Drinks specials will be served all night, along with special giveaways.
