Oktoberfest celebrations may be coming to an end but we’re going to show you how to keep it going with a Brew-fest of your own! We conclude this years two week Munich Folk Festivities with none other than- BEER. Small batch, home brewed beer to be exact.
Our Beer Director, Terence Daly and equally en-brew-siastic staff invite you to join us @Brewology295’s Speonk location for this free event on Sunday, October 4th at 4:30pm, where we are hosting a Home-Brewed Craft Beer Demo to get you just as excited about beer as we are. At Brewology, we strive to educate our patrons in the study, process and consumption of craft beer and we’re taking it back to the beginning.
Most small batch breweries have been started in a basement or garage and have grown into the Craft Brew craze we see today. There are so many variations and flavors to experiment with and our guys will give you tips and pointers on starting out & fermenting as well as history of this budding sport. Even if you’re not one to cook up a batch yourself, it’s a great way to learn about making beer and you’ll have lots of knowledge to impress your family at those upcoming holiday dinners!
Throughout the event we’ll provide tastings; as we add the ingredients to our concoction. We’ll then finish with complimentary beer tastings of a similar batch from a favorite brewery of ours.
Upon entry, each person will receive a raffle ticket for an Oktoberfest basket full of goodies. Additionally, each person receives a second ticket to win a Home Brewing Kit of their own, the grand prize of all our Oktoberfest raffles from Speonk & Port Jeff combined, that will be announced the following week. Good Luck to all our new home brew friends!
This event is free but limited and reservations are required by calling Brewology295 of Speonk #631-801-6221.
