On Thursday, June 23 through Friday, June 24, the Problem Gambling Training Partnership is hosting an exclusive conference to train counseling professionals to diagnose problem gambling-related disorders. This particular event is set to be the organization’s biggest conference of the year, with hundreds of counseling professionals in attendance.

The Problem Gambling Training Partnership is an unprecedented statewide initiative to provide training on assessment and treatment of problem gambling disorder to social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and psychoanalysts throughout New York State.

This unique two-day event provides professionals with evidence-based practices for treating gambling disorders, and will include workshops, a working lunch, and a panel discussion featuring clinical experts in the field of problem gambling. At the conclusion of this free event, attendees will leave with professional development credit hours and have the opportunity to become eligible to receive referrals from the OASAS HOPEline for problem gambling.
