Come out for an evening of interesting conversation and good cheer at a science café presented by Brookhaven National Laboratory. We’re heading back to Hoptron Brewtique, 22 West Main Street, Patchogue, NY, on May 29, 2014 at 7PM.

Next up in the series – Nanotechnology: Exploring New Materials One Billionth of a Meter at a Time.

Scientists working at Brookhaven’s Center for Functional Nanomaterials will discuss how materials developed at the nanoscale may lead to better solar cells, fossil fuel alternatives, and improvements to a host of other technologies.

You don’t need a degree to join the conversation. But you do need to be 21 or older. (The venue’s rules, not ours.) Admission is free.
