The SYSO presents a performance combining the exquisite beauty of Chinese melodies with the grandeur of the Western symphony orchestra.
Alongside classical Western instruments like brass, woodwinds, and strings, it blends in traditional Chinese instruments such as the two-stringed erhu, the plucked pipa, and ancient percussion. Its program features all-original music from the world-famous Shen Yun production, masterpieces by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky, instrumental soloists, and SY singers.
