The Hunting Ground

The Hunting Ground is a documentary on sexual assault on campus. It is a precursor to our March 30th forum (see next email).

NCJW Peninsula section will be showing this film on Sunday, March 20th.

It is a free event, open to NCJW members and Hewlett-Woodmere Library, District 14 residents. HOWEVER, we would like to encourage as many college bound youngsters as possible to see this. At 1:55pm any available seats will be distributed on a first come-first served basis, no matter where you live.

Note that the Oscar nominated song “Til It Happens to You” is from The Hunting Ground. It was sung (and written) by Lady Gaga in an extremely emotional rendition at the Oscars. Gaga herself was a victim and survivor and for all who watched, this was extremely emotional. The audience we are targeting all know Lady Gaga.
