What a Day for a Daydream… Long Island natives and Suffolk Theater favorites — legends of classic rock – The Lovin’ Spoonful – return home to the East End for one special night! Known as the “house band” of the East End in the sixties, the band went on to international acclaim with hits such as Do You Believe in Magic, Summer in the City, Daydream, Nashville Cats- and many others. Over a period of two years in the mid-Sixties, the New York-based group charted a string of ten Top Forty hits, seven of which placed inside the Top Ten at a time when the competition included Motown, the Beatles and countless British Invasion bands.
