Long Island, NY – On May 8, 2014, The Maurer Foundation will host its 19th Annual Golf Classic at the Meadow Brook Club in Jericho, Long Island, NY. Proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Maurer Foundation’s breast health education programs for Long Island and New York City schools, businesses and community groups.

This year’s event will begin with registration and brunch from 10:30am to 12pm followed by a shotgun start. Golfers will then spend the day on the beautiful Meadow Brook golf course followed by a cocktail reception from 5-7:30pm, which will include awards earned by the day’s golfers, a silent auction and raffle prizes.

Former New York Jet, John Schmitt will be joining us again as Master of Ceremonies. Golfers will have the chance to tee off with Schmitt in the Golf Classic’s Beat the Pro contest held at the ninth hole.

Tickets are available for individual players ($600), foursomes ($2,400) and for the cocktail reception only ($150).
