The seventh season of the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association’s signature series, Walking with Whitman: Poetry in Performance, continues with Patricia Spears Jones. Hosted by George Wallace. New for 2017 is a Community Open Mic. The series continues to bring the most intriguing figures in contemporary literature on the national scene to its Whitman stage. Community Open Mic will begin at 6:00PM. The event will include a musical prelude w/ Tommy Santoriello Trio at 7:30PM and at 8:00PM will be the poetry reading, Q&A, book signing with Patricia Spears Jones.
