World Premiere Radio Play Adapted from Ray Bradbury’s ‘The Jar’

18 Peconic Ave
Riverhead, New York 11901

The Vail Radio Theatre Lab presents its very first production as part of unique 8- day performing arts festival at the historic East End theater. Inspired by the long running radio adventure thriller series Suspense, the ensemble will recreate the Ray Bradbury short story ‘The Jar’ for radio. In this version, however, the story comes with an unexpected twist (unknown even to Bradbury) involving the work of famed physicist/inventor Nikola Tesla.

The Vail Radio Theatre Lab is dedicated to presenting unusual and original works for the radio sound stage and to reinventing old time radio for a modern audience.
The Vail-Leavitt Music Hall is located at 18 Peconic Avenue in downtown Riverhead. The Vail October Festival runs October 12-15 and October 19-22. For a full schedule of events and to order tickets, visit
