Ever wonder what life was like in Dix Hills 100 years ago? Come journey into
the past and capture a glimpse of a Half Hollow Hills farming family from the early 1900s. Discover how life on Long Island was different and what in many ways is the same. A visually rich and rewarding exhibition of the Yaiser Family photos will be on display as well as a collection of Indian Artifacts found on the family farm. The exhibition opens in conjunction with the Huntington Historical Society’s Museum Challenge April 29 & 30. The exhibition will remain open in the Dix Hills Meeting Room gallery, which is located on the main level of the Dix Hills Building through May 31, 2017. For more information on the Museum challenge visit www.GoHuntingtonHistory.org.
