This weekend they’re bringing 70s nostalgia to German restaurant Plattduetsche Park, famous for craft beer, 10-ounce pretzels and, of course, multiple flavors of bratwurst. What: The First Annual Exotic Car Show
Where: The Mansion at Glen Cove (200 Dosoris Ln)
When: June 30, 12-5pm
Why Go: Taking advantage of its sprawling 55 acres, the Mansion at Glen Cove will showcase hundreds of vintage and luxury vehicles, including models from Porsche, Ferrari and Maserati. While all guests can view both modern and Golden Age cars against a stunning backdrop, VIP tickets earn customers a spot in the Hospitality Tent and Pool Party, complete with food and beverage offerings curated by chef Jesse Schenker of 2 Springs in Oyster Bay (caviar and lobster rolls, anyone?). What: SixPoint Brewery’s Wingin’ It
Where: The Rust and Gold (70 Gerard St)

Why Go: Advertising “poultry, pints, and prizes,” SixPoint Brewery promises an afternoon of entertainment marked by friendly competition. The event features two wing-eating contests, with prizes going to those who can either eat the most wings or can handle the spiciest ones. What: The High Season Brunch and Book Event
Where: The North Fork Table & Inn (57225 Main Rd)
When: July 1, 11:30am
Why Go: This brunch event is part of a larger collaboration between The North Fork Table & Inn and author Judy Blundell to celebrate her newest novel, The High Season, set on the North Fork. The Inn is offering a High Season Getaway package all summer for couples looking to indulge in a staycation, in addition to other promotional events. Diners at this weekend’s brunch can expect to personally interact with the National Book Award-winning author through a book signing, Q&A session and reading, all the while enjoying what is called the best brunch on the North Fork.
